A few weeks ago Roma Sostenibile sent out an invitation to mayoral candidates to submit “7 points for a more sustainable city.”   The only caveat was that we (obviously) couldn’t publish the submission of any candidate whose advertising campaign further degraded Rome through “illegal billboards, posters outside of regular display areas or mobile advertising vehicles”.  The picture above (with thanks to Kazimir Malevich) represents the candidates to date who satisfy this requirement.

Alcune settimane fa Roma Sostenibile ha pubblicato un invito a  tutti i candidati sindaco di Roma a “mandarci 7 punti per fare di Roma una città più ecosostenibile”.  L’unica condizione era che (per ovvi motivi) non potevamo pubblicare le parole di candidati che portavano ulteriori degrado a Roma usando “cartelloni non a norma, manifesti fuori degli spazi consentiti o con furgoni pubblicitari.”  Il quadro sopra (con ringraziamenti a Kazimir Malevich) rappresenta il totale dei candidati che soddisfano questi requisiti.

RomaSostenibile invita tutti i candidati sindaco di Roma di mandarci 7 punti per fare di Roma una città più ecosostenibile. Sette semplici obbiettivi di programma, in ordine prioritario, per migliorare il capitale.

Saranno pubblicati nell’ordine in cui vengono ricevuti (anche con la nostra traduzione in inglese) con commenti aperti e link alle pagine dei candidati. Per ovvi motivi non saranno pubblicati proposte da candidati che fanno promozione con cartelloni non a norma, manifesti fuori degli spazi consentiti o con furgoni pubblicitari.

RomaSostenibile invites all of Rome’s mayoral candidates to send us 7 points to make Rome a more ecologically sustainable city.  Seven simple programmatic goals, in order of priority, to improve the capital.

These will be published in the order received (together with our English translation) with comments open and a link to the candidates websites. For obvious reasons candidates who make use of illegal billboards, posters outside of regular display areas or mobile advertising vehicles will not be published.
